Making Ten

4th Grade Resources

Five for Friday, May 9th

Another link-up with:

This week,  we administered the Stanford test over the entire school.  Every single day, we tested in the morning, and tried to stay quiet in the afternoon!  Yes,by today my kids are a little CRAY, CRAY!

I have had a severe neck and back ache the last couple of weeks.  This is the first year that we will be signing contracts.  We are a public charter school so have not have do this until this year.
I guess I have been more stressed than I realized, because after a very long talk with our awesome principal, my backache was gone!  Did I mention we have a pretty cool principal!
Yes, it was teacher appreciating week, here as well as everywhere.

My students brought me some pretty cool stuff!

While I have been tutoring the Eighth graders in preparation for the second administration of the STAAR test, my firsties have been working with our STAR kindergarten teacher. She is the teacher that I have learned to most from since I have become a teacher.  It is a joy to have her working with my kids!

They are reading a book about Saturday mornings and writing thier own books about what they do on Saturday mornings.  I'm so proud of the growth that these students have made.  For some of them, this is their first year of instruction in English.

And finally, the fashion designer is at it again:

These are two iterations of earrings that she has designed.
And my school Mother's Day gift!
